The Beach 2012

We had another great time at the beach this year.
The week started out a bit rainy, but things cleared up on Tuesday.
The girls enjoyed building sandcastles and playing on the sand bars. We were able to spend hours out on the beach.
Annual breakfast at Cracker Barrel.

Pit stop at the Bass Pro Shop

 Seaside

First day on the beach before the rain came.

Daddy helped the girls ride the waves.

P.F. Chang's: the girls LOVED it!

We had a blast with the boat. Thanks Dancys for the loaner.

I came in the living room one afternoon to find Anne asleep like this.
Its hard work playing at the beach.

 DONUT HOLE!

 Our fearless fisherman.
Dad caught quite a few fish and on the last day we saw a shark, I'm sure of it, jump out of the water 30ft from us.

We biked almost every evening down to Seaside for ice cream and to let the girls run around in front of the amphitheater.

Thanks Great Granny for our beach outfits!
We missed you and Great Grandma this year!

See you next year!

Pine Cove Bluffs 2012

We had a blast at Pine Cove family camp this year!
It was our first time to go and we can't wait to go back!

We were third in line waiting for the gates to open.
The Garreds were in the car in front of us so the kids got out and played together to pass the time.
The wranglers came out to greet us first.

Every Dad gets a cold root beer at the gates and the moms receive a rose without thorns.

 Signing up for activities
and
our first camp store purchase.
