Field Day 2013

Last Friday Abby, Gra'ma, and I went to Anne's school to cheer the Red Team on to victory in the annual Jack Patriot Games.

 Anne had me paint a "P" and "G" for Patriot Games on her cheeks.

I wanted to paint hearts.

 Abby wanted to take a picture with Lilly, but Lilly kept blinking.

 Anne was ready to compete this year.

She ruled the Egg and Spoon Race!

Well, the Red Team got out scored but,

they did take home the Spirit Ribbon!

Blue Bird Festival 2013

We met Great Granny at the Bluebird Festival in Wills Point a few weekends ago.

Granny spent some of her childhood in Wills Point.

There were huge blow-up bounce house, slides, and obstacle courses.

The girls loved the dragon.

They took the traditional Blue Bird train ride.

We ate giant corn dogs for lunch and topped them off with bubble gum flavored snow cones.

Unfortunately the snake man was not there this year and no amateur wrestling either, 

but we did have a great time!
