Yee Haa!

We went to Pine Cove for their annual Mother's Day Conference this past weekend and Anne rode her first real "horesy." Her dad was a bit nervous for her, but she took to it like a duck in water. She even yelled "yee haa", but we didn't get that on the video. You'll just have to take our word for it.

Anne Reads & Gives a Shout Out to Her Friends!

Anne loves her books and has memorized a few lines from her favorites. Lately, she has been asking me to sit her in the glider so she can read to her baby dolls. Here's a little clip from her latest reading.

Ok, ok, she's not really reading, but what a fine demonstration of her verbal skills!

The Maroon and White Game

Last weekend we all went down for the Maroon and White Game in College Station and the Aggies won! Anne had a ball watching the football game, talking to everyone around, and marching to the Aggie Band. Gra'ma has been working hard with Anne teaching her all about the Aggies and Anne has been soaking it in, like a sponge! When we get in the car Anne's first request is to hear the Aggies.

Ride'm Cowboys!

Great Granny bought Anne her first rocking horse and she is off to the races. She prefers riding while watching Sesame Street and is becoming quite a fine horse women.

Washington D.C.

Here are a few pics of our trip to Washington D.C. We had lots of fun seeing the sights, especially the beautiful cherry blossoms. Anne's favorite were the panadas, hippos, and zebras at the National Zoo. We enjoyed seeing Rachel, my friend from Tyler, who now resides in Washington DC where she works for National Geographic. Thanks to Chad, Katie, and Sophia for a great trip!

Visiting Cousin Sofia (Baby Soapy)

This past week Anne, Grandpa Fletcher, Gra'ma, and I went to visit Aunt Katie, Uncle Chad, and Sofia. Sofia is Anne's First Cousin and Anne call's her "Baby Soapy." It was fun to see them interact and Anne loved all the new toys!
