Life

Here's a glimpse of our day to day life. I know it looks so exciting and you can't imagine how we could pack so much action into one day, but we do. Scott and I our both thankful for our sweet girls, new home, and church family. We thrive in our regular daily routine, but I am learning to be flexible when things don't go the way I planned. We're just trying to soak up all the memories.

The Tent

Great Granny gave Anne this tent and she LOVES IT! Abby enjoys it, too. It was very easy to put together. Anne loves to lure Abby, the Fire Breathing Dragon, into the tent and zip all the doors shut trapping her inside. Needless to say Abby does not enjoy this game as much as Anne. Every morning Anne runs into the play room and has a little tent time before breakfast. I don't think that I will ever be able to take it down. Yea for the playroom!

Snow in Texas

When it snows in Texas we take lots and lots of pictures! Abby slept through most of the fun and Anne preferred to enjoy the snow from inside the house.

Abby's One Year Stats

I took Abby in a couple of weeks ago for her one year check up. Her stats are as follows:

Weight: 18lbs 1oz 5-10th percentile
Height: 30in 75th percentile
Head: 17 3/4"50th percentile

The doctor questioned me on Abby's food in take which I assured him was more than adequate. He said, "She must be an active baby." I said, "Yes," while thinking that is the understatement of the year! I love you Abby and thank God for my precious baby girl! My how the year has flown!

Little Red Car

Santa brought Abby a little red car for Christmas. We strapped her in and let Anne provide the momentum. Abby loves everything fast and wild so this is right up her alley!

Discovery Science Place

Last week, when we had returned from the brink of death, Anne, Abby, and I set out to meet the Garred's at the Discovery Science Place. It is similar to a children's museum. I thought it was wonderful and so did Anne. She could have spent months playing and discovering. We will be back!
