"The nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string." - Anne of Avonlea

Texas Day 2014
We enjoyed another Texas Day at KK. Abby did a great job singing and dancing. Gra'ma, Abby, and I enjoyed a picnic lunch. Abby's favorite activity was washing handkerchiefs in a metal tub with a scrub board.
She loved the horse and was excited that she got to ride just the one she wanted.

Living Museum 2014
Anne's class hosted a living museum in their classroom. Each child chose a famous American, memorized facts, and dressed up to resemble their historical character. Parents were invited to visit the museum, press the button on the desk, and listen to the child. Below are a few pics:
Anne chose Helen Keller. She had a note on her desk that read "caution, I'm blind" just in case.
Still not sure? Here's the answer: Benjamin Franklin

Easter 2014
We had wonderful Easter. After church we had lunch with the family including Great Granny, Chuck, and Sandie.
These pics are from our neighborhood egg hunt. We participated in a combined six egg hunts. I think that's a record 😉

My two year old Sunday school class. I couldn't resist posting a pic of them. They are so funny!
