Gymnastic Skills Test

 Anne went last Saturday for her skills test.

In order to move up to the next level you must be able to perform certain "Nastics," as Abby says, moves.

 Scott said she did a great job!

I'm so glad she likes gymnastics.

She didn't make it to the next level, but didn't seem to discouraged.

Cabinets

My mom and I sanded and painted my cabinets last weekend!

I will NEVER do that again.

I had paint and paint chips ooosing out my ears.

I hope there wasn't any lead in the paint!

East Texas State Fair 2012

 We made our annual trip to the fair again this year.

The girls were extra excited and looked forward to the midway rides.

 Abby loved the roller coaster, Anne did not.

She held on as tight as she could and close her eyes most of the time.

You can see them in the very last car.

 The train was more Anne's speed.

 Anne's pastel drawing of her school won a Third Place ribbon!

Her mom and Gra'ma were very excited!

The girls doll collection won a First Place blue ribbon!

We had a wonderful time except that I ate a delicious and therefore greasy hamburger and chocolate pie and my stomach almost exploded.

Good thing the Zipper wasn't there this year.
