The Park

Now that Anne has gotten old enough to manuvere obsticals and climb steps she has become a frequenter of the neighborhood park. She prefers anything with a steering wheel, but will make time for swings, steps, and slides, as well.

Do you like my glasses?

Anne loves to try on glasses and help you to try them on as well. She loves Gra'ma's reading glasses and mom's sun glasses. She has several in her own size, but Anne believes the bigger the glasses the better!

My First Hair Cut

Last night Anne and I went to Salon Fletcher where Anne recieved her first haircut. The pictures above are her before and after shots. I know what your thinking, the change is so dramatic, that doesn't even look like the same baby! I know, I know, you can't tell much from the picture. Well the truth is she only had a few over achieving wisps of hair trimmed in the back. Now everything is even and symetrical. Thanks Grandpa for the great cut!

Little Mommy

Now that Anne has gotten older she imitates just about everything I do. She loves to play house with her baby dolls. She pushes them in the stroller, feeds them in their high chair, and gives each one lots of hugs.

She likes to put on her own bib and buckle herself into her car seat. Anne insits on helping to do the dishes, sweep the floor, mop, and answer the phone. Soon I will be able to hand over the house work to Anne, eat Bon Bons, and watch TV!

Radio Flyer

Anne has is fasinated with her first set of wheels, a Radio Flyer wagon. We orginally bought it Christmas 2006, but waited until this year to take it out for a spin. It's a little different from my first wagon that only had four wheels and a handle. Anne's wagon can beconverted into a two seater, complete with cup holders, a back rest, and seat belts. Lately, we have been taking Anne on walks in her wagon now instead of her stroller and she loves the new view!

Who needs a drivers license?

Anne's favorite activity lately is driving, thanks Gra'ma or Ma'ma or whatever name you eventually choose.

Christmas 2008

Anne had a wonderful time this Christmas. She celebrated three times with all her grandparents and family. This year she was able to stay awake for the entire event and even opened some of her own gifts. Mom took care of the rest :) Anne has begun to be very verbal and repeats the words you ask her. Her favorite words are Beau (Uncle Mark and Aunt Ashley's puppy's name), NO!, Lilly (her puppy), and please (in Anne language please means "give me candy.")
